This is bat country!

No mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time in the world. Whatever it meant. There was madness in any direction, at any hour. You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning. And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting - on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark - that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

Cows fart

In the Amazon Rainforest only the 3% of the deforestation is due to the need of lumber. The 60% (sixty!) is caused by cows pasture. They take down the trees to create space for cows. We do. The 80% of this meat is exported, overall in Europe. Amazon is in our dishes. We're chowing it down. (Look at this.)

There are two billions cattles allover the world. They fart. A cow's fart is pretty big. They're one of the causes of global warming. One kg of red meat produces more CO2 than driving for 250 kms. That damn kilo uses more energy than a 100 watts lamp used for 20 days, 24 hours a day. You need 9 kgs of cereal to feed that kilo of red meat. While people die of starvation. They die to give us the right of eating as much meat as we want.

Can you forgive the boy who shot you in the head?

Or should you get a gun and go and get revenge?

They definetly don't look fifty. A wall of sound hits you in the head, Thurston is the man and the drummer, over there, damn, he has rhythm. They even played a new song, No Way, "Please, tell us if it sucks". Someone saw Kim smiling twice.

Un Giorno Perfetto

A perfect Day.
Yeah, this movie is distressing. Definetly not a comedy. You go to the cinema with this idea 'Oh yeah i'm watching something light, tonight, my nice italian movie'.
My cousin was like "I had thoughts in my head and now, fuck, I'm happier, I learned how life could be a total shit for someone!"

Wonderful.

Into The Wild

There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes,
By the deep sea and the music in its roar
I love not man the less, but Nature more.

George Gordon Byron

This is the opening poem from the movie. And the movie is one of the best ones i've seen so far.
